Website tracker reference

The tracker is configured with attributes on its <script> tag. Copy the base snippet from Collecting → Integration Options → Impression and add the attributes below as needed. Add the script once, in your shared footer or root layout.

Script attributes

Attribute Default What it does
data-anosys-key required Identifies your endpoint. Filled in by the console. Not a secret.
data-pa false "true" turns on product mode: a lasting visitor identity inside your app. See Product analytics.
data-cid empty Your own user or customer ID, to join tracker data with backend and AI events.
data-app-session empty Your own session ID.
data-consent not set "granted" or "denied", when you know the visitor's choice.
data-anosys-internal-domains your site Comma-separated domains you own, so moving between them isn't a referral.
data-anosys-query-allow UTM tags Extra URL query parameters to keep in reports.
data-anosys-capture-query off Keep the full query string. Only use it if your URLs never contain personal data.
data-anosys-count-replacestate off Count route changes made with history.replaceState as page views.

Element attributes

Put these on your own HTML, ideally in shared components.

Attribute What it does
data-anosys-id="name" A stable name for a link or button in click reports.
data-anosys-section="name" Groups clicks inside this element under a section name.
data-anosys-text Also record the visible text of clicked elements inside this element (off by default).

Runtime API

Call What it does
window.anosys.setConsent('granted') The visitor accepted analytics.
window.anosys.setConsent('denied') The visitor declined. Visits are still counted without a lasting identifier.
window.anosys.getConsent() Returns the current consent state.

What is never collected

  • Values typed into inputs, text areas and selects.
  • Click coordinates.
  • Email addresses in automatically derived click labels (they are removed).
  • Text of clicked elements, unless you opt in with data-anosys-text.

Image pixel (no JavaScript)

For emails or places that can't run scripts, use the GET → Image Pixel option in Integration Options:
